Our mission at Family Records is to provide families with a secure, accessible, and highly visual digital platform to document their heritage. In an increasingly fast-paced world, family histories, personal anecdotes, and lineage records are frequently lost to time. The older generations who hold the keys to our family history often pass away before their stories can be properly archived and shared with the youth.
We realized that the traditional method of keeping family trees in physical notebooks or relying on isolated, unorganized computer files was fundamentally broken. When records are physical, they are vulnerable to fire, flooding, or simply being misplaced during a move. When they are scattered across different social media platforms, they lack the historical context and privacy that family data requires.
We built this platform because we believe that mapping out your family tree should be an interactive, collaborative, and beautiful experience that can be seamlessly handed down to the next generation.
